basic stance on everything/the world/my life/yours/playing with disposable cameras

I was out on a walk and noticed this kind of disturbing advertisement or billboard for the movie 2012 thats coming out. It was not just a bill, or anything like that, they created an entire facade for this building to make it look like the headquarters of some human continuity program that is I guess going to save the human race in 2012. So anyway they made this tan building blue and covered it in propaganda for this movie, but included in this was bright red graffiti crossing a lot of it out saying things like THE MAYANS WARNED US. But that wasn't where it stopped, all of this was then covered with anti graffiti plastic wrap crap. So not only are they making what will no doubt be a really shitty movie just because they know how much we all love horrible movies about disasters, but, this building was located in the lower east side a place covered in some of the most impressive graffiti I've ever seen. So it was basically saying, this neighborhood is crawling with taggers lets cash in on that and use graffiti in our advertisement, which we will then cover in what is basically a building condom, so that the same people can't tag it, which of course is kind of what they're glorifying in the first place. I would have taken a photo of this but honestly it wasnt even worth preserving. So whether you're for or against graffiti, I ask are you for or against hypocrisy?
